Can you explain the purpose of SCALE UP 10X Bootcamp?

Most leaders and organizations focus on incremental improvements—adding 10% or 15% growth each year. While that’s admirable, it’s not transformational. SCALE UP 10X is designed to help leaders shift their mindset and strategies to achieve exponential growth by 10X. 10X is a metaphor. It can be anything related to growth 10 times the revenue, market share, reach, and influence. It’s about redefining what’s possible for your organization and creating a ripple effect that transforms not just your business but your industry.

What prevents organizations from achieving exponential growth?

Scale Up 10X is based on my doctoral research. When I reached out to many corporate leaders to understand why they struggle to achieve rapid growth, they mentioned a few critical issues that prevent them from achieving rapid growth. First, many leaders struggle with the mindset and skills needed to scale. Leadership is about envisioning bold possibilities and making them a reality, but not everyone is equipped for this. Second, organizations often resist change, fearing the unknown or clinging to what has worked in the past. Third, there’s frequently no structured roadmap or growth blueprint to follow, leading to scattered efforts and missed opportunities.

Operational overload is another challenge—leaders get stuck managing day-to-day tasks rather than focusing on strategic priorities. Cultural rigidity can also be a major hindrance; when a company’s culture resists agility, it becomes difficult to adapt quickly. Fear of failure plays a big role, too—many leaders hesitate to make bold decisions because they’re afraid of the risks. Finally, there’s often a gap in critical skills across teams, leaving organizations ill-equipped to implement ambitious strategies.

At SCALE UP 10X, we tackle all of these barriers head-on, giving leaders the tools and frameworks they need to overcome them and create an engine of growth.

How does the bootcamp help participants overcome these challenges?

The program is built around four core mastery areas, each designed to address specific challenges and equip leaders with the tools they need:

  1. 10X Growth Mastery – This module provides a step-by-step blueprint for exponential growth. Leaders learn to innovate their business models, assess risks effectively, and implement governance strategies to ensure sustainable long-term success.
  2. Innovation Mastery – Innovation is essential for scaling up, but it’s often seen as risky. We show participants how to drive innovation at high speed with minimal risk using tools like design thinking and the Innovation Pyramid. The focus is on building a pipeline of ideas and executing them effectively.
  3. Change Leadership Mastery – Resistance to change is one of the biggest hurdles in any transformation. This module equips leaders with strategies to align their teams, overcome resistance, and lead with confidence. Real-world case studies are used to illustrate how successful organizations have navigated change.
  4. Strategic Finance Mastery – Scaling up requires funding, and this module teaches participants how to craft compelling business cases to secure investment. It also covers financial risk management to ensure growth initiatives are executed sustainably.

The learning experience is immersive, combining AI-driven simulations, interactive discussions, and case studies to ensure that participants leave with practical, actionable strategies.

What’s unique about the simulation-based training approach?

Traditional training methods like lectures and PowerPoint presentations are outdated when it comes to transformative learning. They simply don’t provide the kind of experiential insight that leaders need. At SCALE UP 10X, we use AI-driven, gamified simulations that immerse participants in real-world challenges. For example, they might be tasked with leading a team through a strategic transformation, managing a crisis, or launching a new product line.

These simulations replicate real-life scenarios, allowing participants to make decisions, face obstacles, and experience the outcomes of their choices in a controlled environment. The beauty of this approach is that it’s hands-on and deeply engaging. Participants learn not just by hearing but by doing, which makes the lessons far more impactful and memorable.

Who delivers the program?

We’ve carefully curated a team of experts to collaborate with me, who are leaders in their respective fields:

  • Prof. Ajith Medis brings deep expertise in business strategy and transformation, with years of experience helping organizations innovate and grow.
  • Dr. Nirmal De Silva is a consultant and entrepreneur who understands the nuances of scaling businesses in diverse markets.
  • Chaaminda Kumarasiri specializes in financial growth and has helped countless organizations achieve their financial objectives.
  • Nilangani De Silva is an executive coach with a talent for driving cultural change and fostering leadership excellence.

Each facilitator contributes a unique perspective, ensuring that participants receive a well-rounded learning experience that addresses multiple dimensions of business transformation.

What are the key actions participants can take after completing the bootcamp?

Upon completing SCALE UP 10X, participants will be well-equipped to take immediate strategic action. They can effectively redesign their business models, implement innovation at various organizational levels, and initiate transformative changes. With access to our comprehensive frameworks, they can create and execute a scalable growth strategy tailored to their industry. Additionally, ongoing coaching and AI-driven insights will help refine their approach and adapt to evolving market dynamics.

What support do participants receive beyond the bootcamp?

Ruki De Silva: Transformation doesn’t happen overnight, so we provide extensive post-program support to ensure that participants can sustain their momentum. This includes ready-to-use templates for implementing growth strategies, follow-up coaching sessions to guide execution, and virtual expert-led discussions for continued learning.

Additionally, participants have access to AI-driven learning assistants that reinforce key lessons and a curated bundle of management books for ongoing inspiration. The goal is to provide not just a learning experience but a long-term framework for success.

What’s your message to CXOs considering SCALE UP 10X?

Ruki De Silva: If you’re content with incremental growth, this program isn’t for you. But if you’re ready to disrupt the status quo, lead your industry, and achieve exponential success, SCALE UP 10X is your opportunity to make it happen. The strategies and tools we provide will empower you to think big, act boldly, and transform your organization. Take the leap—it’s time to elevate your impact.

How can they get a detailed understanding of the boot camp?

Ruki De Silva: If anyone is interested in obtaining a detail insights of the program, they should send a WhatsApp message to 0773 361 361 and comment 10X DETAILS.
