The gathering also included fellow award recipients and numerous distinguished guests.
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Hon. Sunil Handunnetti, Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development; Mr. K. R. Uduwawala, Secretary to the Ministry of Environment; Hon. Anton Jayakody, Deputy Minister of Environment; along with senior officials from the Ministry of Environment and the Central Environmental Authority.
