Colombo, September 15, 2025 — XpressJobs, Sri Lanka’s leading recruitment technology platform, has once again been appointed as the Official Recruitment Partner for the Sri Lanka Skills Expo 2025, taking place on October 10th and 11th, 2025 at the Temple Trees Convention Center, Colombo.

This marks the second consecutive year of collaboration, with XpressJobs also serving as the official recruitment partner for Skills Expo 2024, where thousands of job seekers connected with career opportunities across multiple industries. The renewed partnership was formalized through an MoU signed on September 15, 2025, between Mr. Sanath Ukwatha, CEO of the Tourism Industry Skills Council (TISC), and representatives of XpressJobs, in the presence of Hon. Abesinghe. During the meeting, the Minister also engaged in discussions with XpressJobs on how its recruitment technology can support and strengthen the Skills Expo 2025 initiative.

About the Sri Lanka Skills Expo 2025

Organized by the Tourism Industry Skills Council (TISC) together with other Industry Sector Skills Councils (ISSCs) under the Ministry of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education, the Sri Lanka Skills Expo 2025 is a national initiative designed to:

• Address skill shortages across key industries
• Enhance workforce competencies and productivity
• Showcase emerging trends in vocational training and skills development
• Educate the public on available vocational programs
• Share data on job opportunities within the skills sector
• Connect job seekers with employers in high-demand industries
  

This year’s Expo is spearheaded by the Tourism Industry Skills Council with strong support from the Ministry of Vocational Education.
