Sharon Kern, Director of People & Culture at Mad Mobile, was recently honored at the SLASSCOM Annual General Meeting 2024 for her outstanding contributions to Human Resources (HR) within the IT and BPM sectors. Her leadership at Mad Mobile Sri Lanka has been instrumental in cultivating a high-performance culture aligned with the company’s mission to revolutionize the restaurant and retail experience.

Under Sharon’s stewardship, Mad Mobile Sri Lanka has embraced innovative HR strategies that prioritize employee well-being, diversity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where innovation thrives. Her ability to align strategic HR practices with Mad Mobile’s business objectives has significantly enhanced employee engagement and driven the company’s growth in a competitive industry. Her focus on creativity and collaboration has positioned Mad Mobile as a leader in technology.

Beyond her impactful role at Mad Mobile, She is an Associate Member of The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors, reflecting her commitment to corporate governance and leadership excellence. Additionally, she’s Certified as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Personal and Business Practitioner and a Professional Coach.

“Truly honored to receive recognition from SLASSCOM for my contribution to the SLASSCOM IT/BPM HR Forum. It has been an incredible journey, that I started to volunteer over a decade ago with passion to Human Resources Development in Sri Lanka. And much grateful for the industry connections I’ve made through this journey, which is remarkable” says Sharon Kern.

Sharon’s long-standing involvement with SLASSCOM highlights her dedication to advancing the HR profession. Over the past decade, she has played a pivotal role in the SLASSCOM HR Forum, making significant contributions to both the IT and BPM sectors. Her leadership as a General Council member and Forum Co-Lead has been marked by her ability to unite HR professionals in addressing industry challenges with innovative solutions. As the Head of the HR Forum for 2024-2025, Sharon is poised to continue her legacy, guiding efforts to meet the evolving needs of the IT and BPM workforce.

Her recognition at the SLASSCOM Annual General Meeting 2024 is not only a testament to her individual accomplishments but also a celebration of her role in shaping the future of HR in Sri Lanka.
