Colombo, Sri Lanka, August 1, 2026: Viharamahadevi Park came alive with energy, hope, and compassion as Run for Hope Colombo 2026 welcomed over 1,200 participants from across Sri Lanka. Organized by the Voice Foundation Sri Lanka, the charity run united families, athletes, running clubs, corporate teams, and community members with one shared purpose to raise funds for the Foundation’s upcoming Single Mothers Empowerment Center, which will provide vocational training, life skills, emotional support, and opportunities for vulnerable single mothers to build a better future.
The event was made possible through the generous support of an outstanding group of partners led by Title Sponsor Nestomalt. Following the remarkable success of the Colombo edition, Run for Hope continues its journey across Sri Lanka. The next edition will take place in Galle, bringing the same spirit of hope and community to the southern coast, before returning to Colombo this December for another inspiring event. The Voice Foundation Sri Lanka looks forward to welcoming even more runners, partners, and supporters as together we continue changing lives one step at a time.
